Over the past 12 years, photojournalist Virgil Fox has worked with city, state and regional magazines including Texas Highways (the state’s official travel magazine), Texas Journey, New Mexico Magazine, D magazine (Dallas’ Monthly) and Louisiana Life. The primary focus of his work has been to illustrate life on “the road less taken” in small towns around the south and southwest.
“I am drawn to images that evoke a sense of place, and celebrations that mix secular and religious traditions.”
Fox is a native of New Orleans now based in Nashville, TN. His fine art photography has been recognized with awards from Art and Antiques magazine. Fox’s product and lifestyle photography has appeared in American Art Review, Architectural Digest, Nashville Lifestyles, The Nashville Scene and New Orleans Magazine.
